The Indian government pursues the goal: »One language - Hindi, one country - Hindustan, one religion - Hinduism.«
In many states there is already the anti-conversion law as well as many unwritten rules that make the life of Christians very difficult. Some of them must go to jail because they would have disturbed the village peace by celebrating a worship service or meeting with other Christians in their own house to pray.
Especially now it is important to stand by the Indian Christians, to train pastors and to support them practically in the context of persecution.
Our local staff provide Christians with a strong biblical foundation. Local leaders receive targeted training so that they can build a business, become self-supplying, and at the same time invest themselves in community building. In addition, Christians are educated about their constitutional rights and motivated to courageously stand up for themselves and make an impact.
