We are convinced that faith in Jesus Christ offers perspective on life and gives hope - here and now and beyond. The Good News shapes and changes people for the better from within. In the spirit of holistic help, we therefore carry the Good News literally to the ends of the earth.
Sharing faith in a culturally sensitive way
As an organization with Christian values, we share the Good News of Jesus Christ. This is done through our missionaries and our local staff. The latter understand the local religious situation and customs particularly well and are therefore able to share the Gospel in a very culturally sensitive way.
We share the Gospel respectfully. It is an offer that each person is free to accept or reject.
How AVC makes Jesus Christ known
We promote the work of Christian churches and communities, often in countries where Christians are persecuted
We train and support local workers, such as pastors and evangelistic teams
We produce and distribute Bibles (paper and digital forms), teaching materials and evangelistic literature
We co-fund Christian radio and TV stations and websites for the Islamic region
